Well, I had a wonderful Thanksgiving over at the Balentine's home where we had a tasty dinner. The deserts were yummy too! There was some nice conservations about family and local politics....the Atlanta mayoral race. I'm glad I don't live IN Atlanta anymore.
I hope everyone also had a great Thanksgiving with love ones.
There is a chill in the air as the days are getting colder and days shorter.
I need to do some camping with a little star gazing mixed in.
Hopefully soon, I can get my health problems straighten out so I can get back to having some fun.....competitive shooting, riding my mountain bike and maybe some boating now that Lake Lanier is at full pool?
Everyone take care!

Fine dinner & get together
This past Monday some of the Georgia Carry.org members got together at Oz Pizza in Fairburn, GA for dinner. It was a fine turn out with about 40-50 people. The calzone I ate was quite tasty. I would recommend this to anyone.
I got to meet the manager and he was a friendly fellow. I sat with his parents, the Wilsons.
It was the first time that I was carrying open in public.....a side arm that is. I normally carry concealed to avoid the hassles of open carry.
I wish we had more of these get meal gatherings to help the public be aware that it's OK to carry open and not against any of Georgia's Laws.
--------------------------------------------------
I have gone through the process of shutting down my website as I don't use it anymore and I wanted to save the cost of keeping it open. I have this site and it's priced better....FREE!

Ecoloblue
I purchased an Ecoloblue some time ago and it died after two months of use.
Seems that there is a leak somewhere, so the machine just stopped running.
If I had read the owner's manual on one of these machines, I would NOT have purchased one. What a maintenance nightmare! After one week, you must sanitize the machine. What? It has seven filters and UV lights....I thought the water it generated was clean?
I do not recommend purchasing one of these machines. Instead, look at the Berkey Light at: http://www.berkeyfilters.com
It uses gravity, which I believe is still free. Get the black filters in combination with a set of white filters. Just pour tap water in the top section and it filters through the black and then the white filters for nice clean water at the tap.

False Flag Incident?
When I heard about the Air France Airliner that crash, the first thing that came to my mind was a false flag incident and who was on board?
One of the clues was that it went down in deep waters, so that it would be near impossible to recover the black boxes. This is a modern airliner. They just don't "break up" and fall out of the sky.
I think something else other than a act of nature caused this airliner to go down.
Well, while listening to the Tuesday program of the Alex Jones Show today, I got my answer.
One of the names mentioned was Ronald Dreyer, a Swiss diplomat and co-coordinator of the Geneva Declaration on Armed Violence who had worked with UN missions in El Salvador, Mozambique, Azerbaijan, Kosovo and Angola.
The other was Pablo Dreyfus, who had worked tirelessly with the Brazilian authorities to stem the flow of arms and ammunition that for years has fueled the bloody turf wars waged by drug gangs in Rio's sprawling favelas.

Thomas Payne speech
Go and view this video....it's worth the 6 minutes.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jeYscnFpEyA
"This guy's video on youtube has been so popular that
Obama called him personally. He said that he was very
disturbed with the video and invited him to the White
House.. Obama also said he wanted the White House to
handle the Press and not to talk about the video or
the White House visit."
That's a good reason NOT to go to the White House.

Updates
Well, we had a great time at Tybee and it was good to be with old friends. Took a trip back to Savannah on the boat for lunch and a stop at the candy store.
We got to anchor and watch the dolphins play...lots of babies splashing around.
There was a container ship going into Savannah at the turn and we got to go over the 6+ foot wake on the way back to Tybee!
I understand that there are limited number of FREE guns in the offer to the left, so this may be a good time get in on the deal. You don't have to take the courses right away. The certificates are good for anytime in the future. Have the gun sent to an FFL of your choice and take it with you when you take the courses.
With all of the Hate & Anti-Bully Bills that are possibly being passed into law, sites like this one may have to shut down so that no one will be offended. Oh, boo hoo!
Of course this will be selective as to who goes to jail for hurting someone's feelings.
To learn about what is really happening in the world, that isn't covered my the main stream media, check out www.infowars.com and wake up.

Tybee Tyme
It's Spring and I've got Spring Fever. Going to Tybee Island, GA this week to spend time with old friends.
There will be boating involved and maybe a boat trip to Savannah for lunch?
It will be great to relax, take some photos, practice some ocean fishing and sight seeing by boat.
How about that Piggy Flu from Mexico? Is that the pandemic that's been talked about or is this just a warm up?

Brass
Well, there was an attempt to kill off the sales of used ammo brass of the US military and to have it destroyed. The citizens of the US made it clear that they were displeased with that decision. The elected officials must have reasoned that their jobs were on the line if this idea wasn't nipped in the bud.
Good goin' fellow citizens!
Check out www.oath-keepers.blogspot.com and see what our Military and Law Enforcement feel about our rights as citizens of the USA!

Gun Show/Shop
Well, the gun show I went to was pretty big and spaced out. Not as crowded as the Cobb show because they have a smaller venue to squeeze it into.
As usual, they didn't have what I was looking for except one surplus dealer that had some canvas water buckets I was needing. I returned on Sunday despite the snow storm. A lot of the dealers had left because of the snow. Woosies!
I picked up a small backpack from the above mentioned dealer. I got to hand out some cards for the FREE gun.
This past weekend, I visited a firearms dealer someone told me about in Butler, GA.
It's a auto parts and hardware store that just happens to sell firearms and related items. Huge inventory and I was impressed. It was a nice drive down there on a US route so there was some nice country side to view.

Gun Show
There is a big gun show in South Atlanta this weekend. I'll be wearing my Guns Save Lives button for the GeorgiaCarry.org group. They should have an area for you to sign up. They've done so much to change the gun laws in GA for the better.
I'll be giving out FrontSight FREE gun info cards too.

Hang on to your wallet!
I'm betting the economy will be going down soon. Heard some interesting news from Lindsey Willams as he was on the Alex Jones Show on Febuary 9th talking about our economy. He also mentioned about a huge oil find that was announced to Congress here in the US and then they voted to ban drilling there. How nice. The people who run our country are so smart. That oil was worth about 7 trillion dollars that could have paid down our national dept.
For some emergency update news from Lindsey Williams, call 800-321-2900. You can check out Alex Jones at www.infowars.com and www.prisonplanet.tv

Ham Radio
Making an effort here to get back into ham radio on the HF bands.
Assembled a new Butternut antenna that will cover all the HF bands from 6 meters through 160 meters. Hopefully, I will have the new antenna operational after this weekend?
I'm also interested in listening to the world band stations. Found a neat one at
7.150 mHz or 7150 kHz. It's out of Russia.
I will be trying to learn Morse Code so that I may expand my horizons on the bands.
When I first got into ham radio, I learned enough code to pass the Novice test. At the time, I wasn't interested in code, so I upgraded to a Technician license to talk.
I understand that the prices at Front Sight will be going up soon? Better get in on the FREE handgun offer before the price goes up too?

Annual Shoot
On January 1st, I cruised up to the Chestnut Mountain Firing Range off GA 136 for my annual start the year off right by shooting a firearm.
Man was that place trashed. Why can't the user's of the range police up after them selves? Targets and stands left on the range, shotgun shells all over the ground. There was paper trash in the woods around the range and 'non-targets' scattered about. The trash cans were full too.
To top it off, I noticed that when I returned to my truck that some scum bags had broken into the pay station and stolen the money. How desperate do you have to be to stoop this low?
This is the only range that doesn't charge per person and there is no time limit for shooting unless there are people waiting. $5 per car. I opt for the annual pass that is good for many other places at $25 a year. The range is open to the public. If this type of use keeps up, I'm afraid that the range may be shut down. If there are more budget cuts for government services, places like firearms ranges could get closed.
I called the U.S. Forest Service to request permission to clean up the range on a day that it is closed and to report the break in of their money drop box. That Ranger was out and I will have to call back to get that permission.
