Thanksgiving
This day has turned out like Labor Day. Everyone bailed. So I will be cooking a turkey for the first time and eating alone. I guess if I invite some for Thanksgiving weeks ago and I don't mention it again, they get it in their head that they need to make other plans? What's with that? They could have called/texted to confirmed.
Moving up here is NW Georgia has created the logistic problem that I'm a two hour drive from the Atlanta area. No problem for me as I have made the round trip drive many times in my moving process. But for others, "it's too far".
But, I have been enjoying it up here. Working on installing my Ham radio antennas. I have three now. Two for HF and one for 2 meters.
Now that all my "crops" have died, I can get busy pulling down the garden fence and cleaning up all the burnt debris for the mobile home that was there from the previous owners. I plan to expand the garden area, re-fence it and put in a real gate. I will have to re-route the power line for the well pump house for the expansion. They buried it about two inches deep. I found it with the back hoe when prepping a place for the LP tank for the Generac generator.
Time to hike to the mailbox to see if any packages arrived with my mail. Then I start the Turkey Day cooking for me, myself and I a fine meal!
Happy Thanksgiving Y'all!
