What a year!

This past year I bought some property in June and am in the slow process of moving up there. It's located on Lookout Mountain in NW Georgia off Highway 157. I have acreage with mostly hardwoods. A big home with a six space carport. Up on the hill is an enclosed, two section garage with roll up doors. There is also an open covered area as part of the garage. The house is about 1/4 mile from the road. The Pigeon Mountain WMA is about a mile from me. And there is the Hogjowl Airstrip near by too. It's a drive to get anywhere like stores, gas stations or restaurants. 15-30 minutes away. I like it up here as there are critters (turkeys, bunnys, frogs, deer) and a donkey/mule that 'HeeHaws' every once in a while up the hill. I purchased a Kobota B2320 Tractor with a backhoe and I feel that is one the best investments I made. It's a whole lot of fun driving it around as it substitutes as a 4 wheeler. I have gotten a lot of stuff done with it than I could have done with a shovel and wheelbarrow. Also, for the first time in my life, I have enjoyed mowing the lawn with a John Deere riding mower! After the lawn was done the first time, I went looking for stuff to mow. My HF ham station is up and running with two antennas. A Generac will be installed next week. More later.....
